Dysart Firecracker 5K
Run/Walk 2009
On Saturday, July 4th Dysart held its annual Firecracker 5K run/walk. 128 total runners and walkers took part in the 3.2 mile course around scenic Dysart. It was a cool morning with a light rain, but it did not stop Bradley Wrage from Yate City, IL from shattering the course record with a time of 16:16! The old record was 16:43 and was held by Kenny Wilcox of Salida, CO. Kenny ran a 16:28 in an attempt to defend his record.
