Central Iowa’s Biggest Single
Running Race (2497 finishers in the 5+ mile)
is the Biggest Cross Country Race in the U.S!
|
|
|
|
Make the decision -
to be a part of the most unique race in the Midwest. You must be ready to; climb
fences, wade through creeks, avoid cows, pigs and deer, and claw your way to the
top of gullies with over 2000 other runners of questionable senses. It’s a great
way to end the racing season and have some war stories to talk about all winter long.
Be sure to bring a change of clothes and dress warm enough for the ‘outdoors in November’
awards ceremony. Don’t wear anything that you might want to keep. This race is a
place to have a good “dirty ole’
time!

Don’t Get Lost
Hopefully, that got your attention. Now for the information on how to get
to the farm. If you’re coming from the North, we’d like you to take an alternate
exit. Last year it took people 45 minutes to go the last mile because of the rush
of people getting off at the farm exit. This year, if you are coming from the north,
leave Interstate 80/35 at the 86th St exit. Take it south (into town) to Hickman
Rd. Turn west (right) and you can come into the farm at the East Entrance, next to
the Girl Scout Office. If we all do this It should help with the terrible backup
trying to get off the Interstate at Hickman.
