			On a cool spring morning Kacie Cowman,
			repeated as the fastest female to cross the
			finish line for the second year finishing in
			23:31, 9 second faster than 2015.
			John Holcomb, Winterset, finished first overall
			in 21:07, 12 seconds faster than his 2015.
			The Kiburz brothers were 2nd and 3rd overall
			Kruise in 21:48 and Kash 5 seconds behind
			his brother.
			Second and third overall for the females were
			Sheri Beaver from Grimes in 27:01 and
			Janessa Koedam, Ankeny, in 28:21.
			The Winterset Rotary Club the
			coordinating sponsor of the race will be
			donating the proceeds to the skate park,
			CRISP, scholarships, dictionaries to
			4th graders, exchange students to name a few.
			The Rotary Club wishes to thank all the
			sponsors who made this possible and also the
			9 AFS students who help administrate the race.
			The next Rotary Race will be the
			Cannonball Pump and Run on August 6th.
